Brunch at Ben Paris- Seattle

One night my husband sent me a reel on Instagram by Seattle.Food.Diva about the restaurant Ben Paris and a message that we had reservations for that Friday morning. To say I was intrigued would be an understatement.

That Friday morning we drove to Seattle to the State Hotel located on the corner of 2nd Ave. and Pike Pl. where Ben Paris is on the first floor. The restaurant itself is bright and airy with high ceilings and lots of windows, even so, the seating still feels intimate and cozy.

Espresso martini with three coffee beans
One of the best espresso martinis I’ve had.

We had espresso martinis to start, which were some of the best we’ve had. For brunch I ordered the smoked salmon omelet and my husband got the fried chicken sando with shoestring fries, we also ordered the ricotta pancakes to share.

Plate with fried chicken sandwich and fries
The fried chicken sando with kimchi, pickled fresno chilis and cucumbers, and spicy mayo on a brioche bun with shoestring fries.
omelet and potatoes
Smoked salmon omelet with a creamy herb sauce, micro greens, pickled onions, and roast potatoes
pancake with fruit
Amazing ricotta pancakes with fresh berries, served with creme anglaise and maple syrup.

All of the food was wonderful but I will have to say, the pancakes were out of this world. The service was just as good and I know we will go back again for sure, and I would also like to try their dinner service at some point.
